Malathion liquid insect spray (commonly 50% concentrate) is a versatile, broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide/miticide used outdoors to control aphids, spider mites, whiteflies, scales, and mosquitoes on fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. It works by disrupting the nervous system of pests. It is applied by mixing with water and provides residual control for 2–3 weeks.
