After sunflower and peanuts, millet is the next most desired seed. It is often blended into seed mixes, but it will also attract a wide range of birds if offered in its own tubular feeder. A distinct advantage of millet is that it’s hard seed coat resists swelling and deterioration during damp weather, reducing the problem of clogged seed ports on our feeders.
